It was nice and clear day, she had a engagement party in the backyard of this little cute restaurant.

I haven't seen beautiful sunset these days....
Being in the middle of skyscrapers sometime makes me wanna in the middle of nature.

Last night from my office, it is on 12th floor, I took a glance out of windows and saw a beautiful orange sunset view floating in between buildings. tiny tiny tiny openings.
I should have taken pictures but it was too beautiful to run to get my camera.

Chicago has been landscaped as more beautiful city then Paris after the big fire.
All the city has burned out 1960s.
Then the architects, landscapers have decided to make it beautiful city.
Now we have such a great city for architecture.

the curved wall entrance with up light gives us no idea of interior.






and you will see very open and light space which you never expected from entrance.


natural light from the beside park gives us open feeling even though the space itself for lounge and the restaurant are not such generous.
luxurious but casual but richness. and some sound to it with this plenty of light.

light has been created by nature, construction has been made by human.
two of those opposite matter create beautiful shapes.

In the city, we see many under constructing sites,
and which is very different from Japanese.

I feel this way, Japanese one are so separated from our life even though we always pass by constructing sites.
We do not know what is going on inside of sites because of covering all around.
But here, everything is close and we see inside.
Which actually can be so dangerous, anyhow, I love looking at them.
